Overview: As a Solutions Architect, you'll design optimal architectures and advise on cost-effective, high-performance infrastructure. Collaborate with our software and investment teams to ensure our infrastructure is efficient and economical.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement top-notch on-premises and cloud architectures.
Offer advice on cost-efficient infrastructure usage and strategies.
Work with development and operations teams to maximize resource efficiency.
Perform infrastructure assessments and suggest improvements.
Keep current with the latest infrastructure and cloud computing technologies.
Train and guide teams on infrastructure management, optimization, and FinOps principles.
Core Tech Stack:
Cloud Cost Management: Cloudability, CloudHealth, CloudCheckr, etc.
Infrastructure Management: VMware, Nutanix, Kubernetes, Terraform.
Public Cloud: AWS, Azure.
Scripting and Automation: Python, Bash, etc.
Monitoring and Analytics: Prometheus, Grafana.
Operating Systems: Linux, Windows.

Strong expertise in on-premises, cloud (AWS, Azure), and hybrid infrastructure platforms.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement cost-efficient, scalable architectures.
In-depth knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in complex environments.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Superior communication and presentation abilities.
Proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Bonus points for:
FinOps certification or relevant training.
Certification in public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Expertise in IT financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
Active participation in technology communities or recognized thought leadership in infrastructure optimization.
Proficiency with infrastructure automation and orchestration tools.
Familiarity with containerization and microservices architectures.
