Responsibilities of a IT Auditor:

Develop and implement comprehensive IT audit plans, specifically tailored to the unique requirements of a Hedge Fund.
Execute internal audits of the company's IT systems, infrastructure, and applications to identify control weaknesses and areas for improvement.
Enhance and optimize IT internal controls, including access controls, data integrity, and system reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate internal control measures into business processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate internal and external risks, and develop appropriate risk response strategies.
Proactively prevent potential internal employee fraud and intentional losses through the implementation of robust control systems.
Coordinate and deliver training programs to promote awareness of internal control measures and foster a culture of compliance.

Job Requirements for IT Auditor:

Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, or finance. Advanced degrees or certifications, such as CIA, CISA, or CISSP, are highly desirable.
Experience in IT audit, preferably within the financial industry, with a strong understanding of Hedge Fund operations.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and industry best practices relevant to Hedge Funds.
Proven track record of managing complex IT audit projects and leading teams to successful outcomes.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for Assistant Manager/Manager role.
