Job Title: Controller

Compensation: $135,000 - $190,000 base salary
Role Description:
This established and expanding FinTech is seeking a controller to oversee their accounting and operations functions. This role involves working as an individual contributor, managing the firm's accounting process, creating new accounting and operational policies, and reporting directly to the CFO.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Oversee external audits
- Head the month and year-end closing processes
- Properly implement ASC 606
- Manage accounts payables and accounts receivables
- Oversee payroll and general ledger
- Manage bank reconciliations
- Streamline various processes using accounting systems
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of accounting/finance experience
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Understanding of GAAP compliance
- Proficient in various accounting / finance softwares
