VP, Credit Risk Responsibilities:
- Shape and redefine the firm's credit risk strategy and underwriting guidelines.
- Prioritize and identify credit related issues within our lending portfolio using internal and market insights.
- Evaluate how product changes might affect the firm's profile - advise on strategic product development balancing risk and return.
- Engage in leading a team of analysts - mentoring credit risk professionals while creating a fostering and collaborative environment.
VP, Credit Risk Qualifications:
- Exceptional analytical skills, critical thinking abilities, and effective communication skills.
- Substantial experience managing complex commercial client portfolios.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with clients, relationship bankers, and credit teams.
- Expertise in financial and risk analysis, including proficiency in financial modeling.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in credit analysis and portfolio management within Commercial Banking.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong experience in financial modeling.
