Salary: $100,000 - $130,000
A proprietary trading firm is looking to bring on a Technology Operations Engineer.
What you will be responsible for:
- Oversee the trading system, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues to ensure continuous operation
- Automate software deployment for Linux and Windows applications to accelerate roll outs
- Develop and implement new tools to enhance system management, reduce manual efforts, and reduce errors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Python proficiency
- Experience with Linux systems
- Comfortability with distributed version control
- Familiar with configuration management systems and monitoring tools
The role must sit in the firms Chicago office working a hybrid model of 3 days per week in office, 2 days remote.
