Our client is a dynamic alternative investment manager based in London, renowned for its innovative approach to the financial services industry. As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join their high-profile technical team. This is the third hire for the technical function, offering an exciting opportunity for an individual to showcase their entrepreneurial mindset and contribute to projects from inception to completion.
The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with the CEO and CIO, reporting directly to them.
Responsibilities:
- Develop end-to-end solutions for projects, demonstrating proficiency from initial concept to final implementation.
- Enhance existing systems to align with the evolving demands and requirements of stakeholders.
- Diagnose and resolve system faults promptly to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- 18 months or more of hands-on experience in Python Software Engineering.
- Genuine interest in the financial services industry and a willingness to learn and contribute to this sector.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, showcasing a solid foundation in software engineering principles.
- Proficient in SQL, with the ability to manipulate and manage databases effectively.
- Possess an entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrating creativity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
