Our client is a $9B asset manager based in NY who specialized in structured products in the public and private markets who is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to work part of the core team focusing on risk management.
The firm has 50 people and will join a small engineering team to work on applications to help manage risk, develop trading tools, and build core infrastructure, working closely with the investment, quantitative research and operations teams. This role is 70% FE/30% BE.
- BS in Computer Science
- 3+ years experience as a software engineer or full stack engineer
- Very strong programming and software design skills (Python, Javascript)
- Experience developing web technologies with experience in Javascript / React / Python / Flask / SQL / AG-Grid development stack or similar
- Some exposure to Asset Management / Fin Tech industry with exposure to some of the following products: equities, fixed income, - structured products a plus
- Prior work exp developing trading systems, risk reporting, and or trading tools within a fixed-income or structured products environment a plus
- Experience working on ETL, data processes, & data warehouses a plus
- Strong communicator, flexible personality, organized, driven, passionate about the latest software technologies / frameworks
