A leading insurance holding company is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to join its Risk Management team. This role involves supporting risk assessment frameworks across the organization, with a focus on risks, controls, and governance activities. This role will collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement policies and procedures in a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilties:
- Support risk assessment frameworks across GRC activities
- Maintain governance activities in alignment with Genworth procedures
- Review framework and implement controls in a consistent manner across the business
- Report and provide insights to senior management on risk triggers, limits, and actions
- Create and monitor risk reporting, dashboard, and heat maps for the Board, members of senior management, and external parties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related fields
- 10+ years of managerial experience in a business environment
- 6+ years of experience in the risk management space
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory procedures (HIPAA/HITECH, Oxley, GLBA)
- Experience with IT in risk management frameworks (ISO 2700x, NIST SP 800-53)
- Able to effectively work and manage people in a dynamic and collaborative environment
