Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Compliance Associate to join our team and work corporately with the team and senior stakeholders, supporting the in house compliance functions, reviews & advisory assessments for clients in the asset management, hedge fund, private equity, and real estate space.
- Lead & collaborate on client compliance reviews, any ad-hoc inquiries, and maintaining relationship management.
- Provide support for compliance program email reviews, expert network processes, marketing materials, and personal trading policies.
- Clearly communicate compliance advisory feedback & suggested changes to clients.
- Carry out compliance protocols and training across policies, procedures, examinations, and audits.
- Review, interpret, and provide feedback on regulations independently.
- Respond to regulatory inquiries, explaining the process and conclusions.
- Familiarity with regulatory rules and compliance policies for asset managers, hedge funds, private equity, and real estate funds. (FCA exposure is desirable)
- Work closely with the Associate Director to ensure seamless compliance management and client support.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring continuous growth within the organisation.
Required Qualifications:
- Finance Degree, or other related courses.
- 5 years of compliance experience, within a private equity-focused, asset management background.
- Proven compliance knowledge, including responsibility for conducting compliance program reviews.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Exceptional personable, written and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise across various projects, and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Quick to learn and master new tasks, with a drive to grow and progress within the company.
- FCA exposure is strongly preferred.
