Senior Actuarial Associate - Valuations
What You Will Do:
- Support valuation requirements (GAAP, Statutory, Tax) for reinsurance transactions, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
- Prepare workpapers, develop actuarial memoranda, and conduct technical reviews.
- Analyze reserves and financial results; enhance risk and control frameworks.
- Drive process improvements, including automation for quarterly valuations.
- Assist with internal and external auditor requests.
What You Will Have:
- 3+ years of actuarial experience in Life Insurance, Annuities, or ALM.
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA).
- Experience in valuation and financial reporting, especially with health products like LTC and Individual Disability; exposure to LDTI is a plus.
- Proficiency in actuarial modeling (e.g., Moody's AXIS) and data analysis in MS Excel; programming skills are advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for various platforms, including email and Teams.
