Position Overview:
As an Associate/Vice President within the Project Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing complex project finance transactions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, interfacing with clients, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders to structure and execute financing solutions for a diverse range of projects. Key Responsibilities:
Project Finance Leadership:
- Lead the development and execution of project finance transactions from inception to completion.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance on project finance initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of financial solutions.
Financial Structuring:
- Structure and negotiate complex financial transactions, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and risk management strategies.
- Analyze project feasibility, risks, and financial models to optimize financing structures.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing financial expertise and solutions tailored to their needs.
Risk Management:
- Assess and mitigate financial and operational risks associated with project finance transactions.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the interests of the organization.
Market Analysis:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments affecting project finance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market analysis.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in project finance within the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and closing project finance transactions.
- In-depth understanding of financial markets, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
