Investor Relations Senior Associate Overview:
A leading middle-market private equity firm in Houston is looking to add an Investor Relations Senior Associate to support their capital formation and investor relations efforts. Having raised capital for several funds, they are looking to build out their team as they prepare to raise a new fund. As the Investor Relations Senior Associate, you will be responsible for generating new business through prospecting, relationship management, and team collaboration.
Investor Relations Senior Associate Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Director of Investor Relations to assist with raising funds and managing investor relationships.
- Gain mentorship from senior leadership, accelerating professional growth.
- Creating PowerPoint presentations and organizing marketing materials.
- Onboard investors and manage related processes, including maintaining CRM systems, responding to investor information requests (RFPs), completing due diligence questions (DDQs).
Investor Relations Senior Associate Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
- Prior 1-2 years of experience in Investment Banking (a plus).
- Minimum of 2-6+ years of relevant experience in Investor Relations (preferred with Private Equity).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
