Title: Investment Banking Vice President
Company Summary: We are currently partnered with a high performing, specialty boutique investment bank looking to add an Investment Banking VP to their team in Houston, TX. This individual will have the opportunity to gain extensive M&A execution experience and follow a pathway to Director, advancing in their career as the firm continues to grow.
The Investment Banking Vice President will be responsible for:
- Lead and manage all aspects of client engagements, including mergers & acquisitions (M&A), capital raises, and financial restructuring projects.
- Take a hands-on approach in overseeing financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction execution.
- Manage, mentor, and develop junior bankers (Associates and Analysts) to ensure the efficient completion of transaction deliverables.
- Foster and deepen client relationships through proactive communication and strategic advice.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on business development initiatives and new deal sourcing.
- Contribute to the firm's thought leadership, including market insights, industry trends, and research.
The Investment Banking Vice President should have:
- 6-8 years of Investment Banking experience
- Investment Banking experience in the Business Services, Power, Utilities, or Industrial Services sector.
- Strong technical skills, including financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence processes.
- Experience working in a boutique or middle-market investment banking environment is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, as well as work effectively with senior executives and clients.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
- Currently located or ties to Houston, TX.
