We are currently working with a Private Debt investment Management Firm. They are looking for an Investment Director to support the growth of the company.

Responsibilities:
Originate deals and evaluate potential private credit opportunities, including conducting due diligence on prospective investments.
Conduct credit analysis, assess creditworthiness, and structure financing solutions tailored to the needs of borrowers.
Execute investments by structuring and negotiating deals along with fostering and maintaining relations with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure that investments are compliant with relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with our risk-return objectives and market conditions.
Monitor and manage a portfolio of private credit investments, optimizing risk and return profiles.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and investors on portfolio performance and investment opportunities.
Implement effective risk management strategies and identify potential risks within the portfolio.
Lead a team of investment professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with borrowers, partners, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:
8+ years of experience in private credit, corporate advisory, corporate restructuring or loan workout experience.
Proven track record of successful deal sourcing, structuring, and portfolio management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Australian financial markets and regulatory environment.
A passion for staying updated on market trends and a commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards.
