Their flagship contribution is to a leading lending protocol on Solana, which redefines liquidity and yield foundations with next-generation risk systems and a user-friendly experience that democratizes passive income management.
They are a well funded early-stage startup with a flat organizational structure and a fast-paced environment. The team is composed of experienced professionals in quantitative research, machine learning, MLOps, and DevOps.
The firm is looking for Head of Risk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll contribute to an evolving, open-source codebase and help create more secure, user-friendly, and comprehensive financial products on Solana. You'll be part of a high-velocity team that believes in open-source code and the transformative power of globally accessible markets.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and model complex risk exposure frameworks
- Transform our risk systems from static to dynamic models
- Oversee new listings, new pools, and updates focused on risk management
- Promote a culture driven by quantitative analysis and establish best practices in DeFi
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently in a Risk seat at a Crypto Trading Firm or Crypto Brokerage/Lending
- Proficiency in implementing program updates and multi-sig changes
- Demonstrated experience in managing risk in live production environments
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with an advantage if applied to trading strategies
- Commitment to the principles of open-source contributions
- Enthusiasm for software development, DeFi, and cryptocurrencies
