Selby Jennings has partnered with a well-regarded Senior Portfolio Manager with a consistent 25 year track record of managing a multi-billion USD portfolio in Asia. The team is currently seeking a Global Semi/Hardware Senior Analyst to join their Hong Kong/Singapore/New York office.
The book will mainly trade across India, Japan, China, and US. It is NOT sector, country or factor neutral as the PM has the luxury of taking beta risk and having a wider drawdown limits. Typically the investment horizon would be ~1 year on the long side and 6-9 months on the short side.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience; 5+ years of Semi/Hardware equity research experience on the buyside
- Understanding of the global tech supply chain with experience trading US Equities
- Passion for Fundamental Investing; open to LO/Long-biased experience
- High level understanding of risk management and is keen to manage a book in the future
