You will be reporting into the Director of Financial Reporting so there is significant exposure to senior leadership giving you the opportunity to grow up the ladder quickly. This position must be worked Hybrid in St. Louis, MO.
What you will do…
- Oversee annual group capital projects, ensuring deadlines are met and timelines are prepared across functions.
- Manage financial reporting for group capital, including additional reporting projects and quarter-end functions.
- Prepare and disclose annual US GAAP financial statements for multiple legal entities and support audit inquiries.
- Review and update SOX process documents, providing audit support and documenting group capital processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external areas to enhance accounting practices, respond to inquiries, and recommend process improvements.
- Coordinate and complete special projects, balancing priorities and deliverables efficiently.
What you will need to be successful:
- 8+ years in accounting, auditing, or finance
- Life or Health Insurance experience preferred
- Strong Reinsurance Accounting or Financial Reporting background
