Selby Jennings has been engaged by a commodities focused Hedge fund based in Houston with an AUM of $200mm. They are seeking a Director of Investor Relations to join their rapidly growing team. This individual is responsible for supporting the teams existing and prospective investors by communicating regular updates, connecting executives with key stakeholders, and growing and retaining investor-related assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with current and prospective investors, providing timely updates and addressing their needs.
- Develop and execute a strategic investor relations plan to enhance the firm's reputation and engagement.
- Coordinate investor meetings and events to present the firm's investment strategy, market positioning, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with 3rd party service providers to better support executives and investors.
- Primary contact for investor inquiries, ensuring clear, consistent, and timely communication of the firm's performance, strategy, and outlook.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Existing relationships with institutional and family offices.
- 2-4 years of experience in investor relations.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
