Our client is looking for a Director of Business Development who will implement a successful fundraising strategy and promote products to both new and existing investors. The ideal candidate is highly driven, has outstanding emotional intelligence, and follows a process-oriented and collaborative approach.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy, promoting the firm's products to HNW and institutional investors.
- Identify and cultivate new relationships with potential investors.
- Stay informed about market trends and gather feedback to support product development, documenting and tracking all information in a CRM.
- Create and manage marketing campaigns and collateral.
- Incorporate market feedback and use internal data to support investor-facing materials.
- Collaborate closely with the Research, Finance, and Operations teams to provide excellent client service.
- Coordinate and manage client-facing meetings, ensuring all materials and travel arrangements are in place.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of experience selling hedge fund and/or private equity investment products to HNW and institutional investors.
- Strong drive to meet fundraising goals while handling multiple priorities.
- Exceptional communication skills for crafting persuasive investor messages.
- A research-oriented mentality to identify and leverage new client prospects.
- Highly organized and effective in supporting client meetings and marketing events.
