Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Partner with clients to identify and implement strategic solutions for regulatory compliance issues.
• Support the design, review, and enhancement of compliance programs related to Digital Operation Resilience (DORA), AML, IDD, GDPR, consumer protection, and other areas.
• Conduct compliance assessments at both the enterprise and business unit levels.
• Develop and improve policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide training sessions and promote awareness of best practices in compliance.
• Assist in evaluating, setting up, and implementing effective compliance organizations and performing specific compliance tasks such as risk assessments, monitoring, advisory, and reporting.

Key Duties:

• Collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders across different functions.
• Keep abreast of regulatory and market developments in the compliance field.
• Contribute to the enhancement and expansion of compliance service offerings.
• Build strong client relationships and support business development initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in compliance or risk consulting, business analysis, or project management.
• Ability to interpret and apply various legal frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of multiple regulations with a keen interest in learning more.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Proficiency in English and either Dutch or French.
• Proactive approach with a focus on improving efficiency.
• Analytical mindset with a results-driven attitude.
