Company Summary: Our client is a top-rated carrier collaborating with Managing General Agents offering Commercial Auto Liability, Physical Damage, Motor Truck Cargo, and diverse General Liability programs. They are looking to add a Commercial Claims Examiner to their growing team.
Location:Columbia, South Carolina - On-site
Responsibilities:
- This person will be responsible for investigating, settling, and supervising claim files for assigned accounts.
- Some of the tasks involve receiving and processing auto liability losses, investigating property and casualty claims, negotiating settlements, establishing loss reserves.
- Staying updated on industry developments.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of of liability claims experience, specifically automobile liability claims
- Great decision-making skills, negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- An Adjuster's license is also required with the state of South Carolina
- Must be familiar with the South Carolina Tort Claims Act.
