Institutional Sales Vice President
Job Summary:
As the Sales Vice President you will play a pivotal role in driving the institutional business growth globally. Reporting directly to the Head of Products, Sales, and Marketing, you'll be responsible for developing strategic relationships, promoting my client's brand, and ensuring efficient communication with major institutional clients.
Job Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and capitalize on institutional business opportunities, focusing on insurance, government pension, and sovereign wealth funds.
- Cultivate strong relationships that lead to new mandates and additional investments in existing funds.
Brand Promotion:
- Intensify communication efforts with major institutional clients to enhance the visibility and reputation of my client's brand in the region.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Efficiently complete Requests for Proposals (RFPs), consultant reports, and client reports.
- Customize investment solutions to meet the specific needs of prospects and clients.
Product Innovation:
- Contribute ideas for new products that align with the assigned markets.
Ad-Hoc Projects:
- Lead or participate in other strategic projects.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant institutional sales experience, specifically covering regional clientele in the asset management industry.
- Proficiency in handling sophisticated institutional clients, including sovereign wealth funds (SWFs) and global pension clients.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and analytical abilities.
- Innovative thinking.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) in Chinese and English.
- Accuracy, articulation, and a professional demeanor.
- Additional Consideration:
- Candidates with higher qualifications may be considered for the Director level.
