An emerging online lending platform, is looking to bring on an experienced Business Development & Partners Director to their team. Company is focused on providing loans to small and medium-sized businesses.
Ideal candidate will be coming from the online lending or buy-now-pay-later space, 7+ years of experience, and has a deep understanding of the lending platform space/fintech industry and building new business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a business development strategy focused on the firm's overall goals
- Building long term relationships with new business partners
- Engage with vendor partners to strengthen relationships and facilitate partnering activities for positive sales growth
- 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership function
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Prior sales experience of a SaaS/BNPL/lending product and knowledge of the financial services industry
- Track record of hunting new business within small and medium sized business
- Ideal candidate has previously sold a buy-now-pay-later product or a lending service and is comfortable hunting new business
